The Social Economy Research Institute is a non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 2011 and specializes in social studies economics, journalism society, digital content, networking with organizations of the Diaspora and green entrepreneurship.
Especially, the institute:
- Consults in strategic studies and investment projects of municipalities, government agencies, NGOs and businesses
- Specializes in the Information Society and has experience digital culture programs, e-services and digital convergence
- Promotes networking initiatives for the green in large urban centers, alternative energy sources, the EU Eco-Management home composting
- Provides standard institutional tools for implementing programs with environmental and digital content – especially in culture and social health tourism
Advises local organizations and networks to promote agritourism exhibitions in many parts - Promotes networking between local voluntary in the major urban centers and Eco-development in the countryside, creating the necessary conditions of expertise and capabilities in supporting and consulting the network with planning and studies programs
- Develops initiatives for networking and cooperation between organizations of Civil Society and the local authorities
- Prepares stakeholders partnerships for specific cooperation programs
- Promotes business networking and NGO consortia for international programs
- Networking and collaboration among the Greeks of the Diaspora with civil society organizations and businesses in Greece who want to gain cultural, educational and economic relations with Greece and the common European space
